PSSI Delete Klok Interview Video After Calling Patriot Stadium Grass Ugly

NOBARTV NEWS – After the first match against Burundi yesterday, one of the players Marc Klok complained about the condition of the Patriot Stadium field, which he said was very bad. The complaints summarized in an interview were uploaded to the PSSI social media account. But not long after, the post just disappeared.

As is already known, the Garuda Indonesia squad on FIFA Matchday this March met with the African team Burundi. These matches were held twice, respectively, on 25 and 28 March 2023. Both matches were also contested in the same place, namely at the Patriot Candrabhaga Stadium, Bekasi Regency, West Java Province.

The first match has been completed. As a result, Shin Tae-yong's squad succeeded in beating their opponent with a fairly landslide score of 3-1. Garuda Indonesia's three goals were each scored in the first half by local players who now have careers within the country. They are Yakob Sayuri (PSM Makassar), Dendy Sulistyawan (Bhayangkara FC), and Rizky Ridho (Persebaya Surabaya).

As for Burundi, the team ranked 141st in the world scored the only goal through their overseas player who is known to play in the highest caste .

After the match, in a video clip lasting approximately one minute, naturalized midfielder for the Indonesian National Team, Marc Klok, gave his impressions regarding the course of the match. The former Persija player who now has a career at Persib Bandung complained about the condition of the stadium which he said was very bad (jelak). To the point, he admitted that it was difficult to pass the ball due to the condition of the grass.

“A very important win. Ball control is much calmer. However, the grass is also very bad, it is not easy to move the ball, we have to play the ball more slowly. I think it's also more up for their pressing. "But we will try to improve it for the second match," said Marc Klok.

But suddenly, the video post that was originally uploaded by PSSI just disappeared. However, the digital traces of the video have already spread everywhere so what PSSI did by deleting the video seems useless. In fact, one of the Indonesian National Team fanbase accounts @garudafansbook uploaded the video again with a different narrative.
